Russia launches double-tap drone attack on Ukrainian energy workers, killing two
Viacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Oblast Military Administration, reported that a Russian drone struck a repair vehicle of Chernihivoblenergo in the Semenivka hromada – a local government area that includes one or more nearby settlements – in the Chernihiv region on the evening of October 10, killing two workers and wounding three others.

One employee died at the scene, and four others were injured and hospitalized,” Chaus wrote.
He added that Russian forces also shelled the local fire team that arrived to help.
The official later reported that one of the wounded energy workers died in the hospital, bringing the total number of fatalities to two.
The remaining wounded individuals were hospitalized and are receiving all necessary medical care. Additionally, two vehicles were damaged.

Fires broke out in the civilian sector and at infrastructure facilities, and cars were damaged. Russian drones struck critical infrastructure objects in the Nizhyn District; the roof of a production workshop caught fire, but rescuers were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.
Russian drone attacks on Zaporizhzhia on October 10 wounded 11 people, including two children and one State Emergency Service (SES) rescuer.
Earlier, ZMINA reported that on October 3, Russians launched a double strike against rescuers in the Poltava region while firefighters were trying to clear the damage from a previous attack. A fire truck was damaged in the shelling.
