Russians kill three people and injure four others in the Sumy Oblast

Russian army personnel attacked the villages in the Sumy Oblast using bombs and a drone, killing three people and injuring four, according to the Sumy Oblast Prosecutor’s Office.

“The data obtained during the investigation indicates that the occupiers dropped at least six guided aerial bombs on the centre of the village of Krasnopillia in the Sumy District within an hour on March 21, 2025. As of 18:45, three people have been killed, and two others wounded as a result of the enemy attack,” the statement reads.

Around 16:00, the Russians attacked a motorbike travelling through the settlement of Rozhkovychi in the Shostka District. They killed the 55-year-old driver and injured the 44-year-old passenger.

By way of background, on March 20, Russians carried out an airstrike on a residential building in the settlement of Krasnopillia, Sumy Oblast, killing two civilians.

As reported by the Moscow Times, Ambani’s company, Reliance Industries, signed a 10-year oil supply contract with Rosneft in 2024, worth $12-13 billion annually. The Russian company committed to supplying up to 500,000 barrels per day, about half of Rosneft’s seaborne shipments from Russian ports.
