Russians kill judge of Ukrain’s Supreme Court Leonid Loboyko in drone attack in Kharkiv Oblast

Russian forces killed a Ukrainian Supreme Court judge, Leonid Loboyko, and injured three women in a drone attack. They struck a car in the settlement of Kozacha Lopan in Kharkiv Oblast on Saturday afternoon, claiming the judge’s life and wounding three women.

The Supreme Court confirmed the death of its colleague.

Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Oblast State Administration, reported that a Russian drone struck a car. The attack killed one civilian man and injured three women, who are now receiving treatment in hospital.

The Kharkiv Oblast Prosecutor’s Office revealed that the 61-year-old driver died instantly. At the time of the attack, the judge was delivering humanitarian aid to residents.

Moreover, a Russian airstrike on the village of Slatyne in the Kharkiv Oblast left three people dead and at least three more injured that day, according to Syniehubov. He also added that Russian forces had hit civilian infrastructure, damaging the premises of an educational institution and shops. People were on the street at the time of the strike.

To provide context, on September 28, Russians struck a hospital in Sumy twice, killing nine people and injuring 19 others.
