Russian strikes kill two children, woman in overnight attacks in Donetsk region

Russians killed two children, a woman and injured two other civilians in the Pokrovsk District of the Donetsk Oblast, according to the Donetsk Oblast Prosecutor’s Office.
According to investigators, Russian forces launched two Shahed-type drones at the village of Novoukrayinka at 21:00 on October 21, 2024. The attack killed a 14-year-old girl and left a 29-year-old woman with a leg fracture and burns.
In a second attack at 23:50, a Russian bomb strike on Yantarne village in the Kurakhove hromada killed an 11-year-old boy and a 64-year-old woman in their home, and injured a 68-year-old man.
The attacks damaged multiple residential buildings and outbuildings in both settlements.
