Russian military in Kharkiv region killed civilians and their dog who were trying to escape danger — Armed Forces of Ukraine
The 77th Separate Airmobile Dnipro Brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that Russian military personnel shot and killed two civilians and their dog in the Kharkiv Oblast as they attempted to evacuate to a safer area.
The killings occurred on November 3, 2025, in the village of Kruhliakivka. Russians used a drone to strike the people and the dog walking beside them.
Judging by the report from Ukrainian soldiers, the Russian military filmed the crime themselves and intended to use the video for propaganda purposes to accuse the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the murders. Such incidents are not uncommon.

The video shows two civilians walking with their pet along the road while raising a white flag. The Russian drone struck the civilians directly, killing them on the spot. The attack was sequential, with both victims attacked in close succession.
“This crime is further evidence that concepts like honor, morality, or law do not exist for the occupiers,” the 77th Separate Airmobile Brigade commented on the footage.
Law enforcement officials have not yet officially announced the opening of a criminal proceeding regarding the incident. Such cases are typically classified as violations of the laws and customs of war and premeditated murder, for which those responsible for the attack could face life imprisonment.
