Russia kills 3, destroys momes in Zaporizhzhia Oblast strikes

Russian attacks killed three people in the Stepnohirsk hromada – a local government area that includes one or more nearby settlements – in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast on August 3, 2025, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration. 

“Three people were killed and houses destroyed following the Russian attack on the Stepnohirsk hromada. The enemy was attacking the hromada throughout the day. Houses were destroyed. Three people – two men aged 50 and 40 and a 58-year-old woman – were killed in the strikes,” Fedorov stated. 

The Zaporizhzhia Oblast constantly suffers from Russian shelling. 

A Russian attack killed one civilian and injured four others in the Oblast on August 1. Fedorov reported, Russians hit a house in the village of Veselianka, killing a 63-year-old man.

A Russian attack damaged a residential building and caused a fire in Malokaterynivka. The attack injured a 65-year-old man. He is receiving the necessary medical treatment. Later, he stated that attacks had injured two more people, a 36-year-old woman and a 77-year-old woman. Russian forces injured one in Veselianka and the other in Malokaterynivka.

On the morning of July 25, Russians killed a 63-year-old man, a resident of the village of Poltavka, and injured another in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.  

The attack also damaged a house in the village.

Fedorov also reported that that day, a Russian attack in the town of Stepnohirsk seriously injured a 64-year-old woman. Medical teams took her to the hospital, and her condition was assessed as critical.

Rescue workers discovered the body of a 77-year-old woman killed in a Russian attack on Saturday, July 12, in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Details: The Russian attack destroyed houses in the settlement of Novodanylivka that day. Workers found the woman’s body in one of the destroyed houses. 

Earlier, Bohdan Bernatskyy, a member of the Sanctions Policy Working Group of the Crimean Platform Expert Network, revealed at the Third Parliamentary Summit in Latvia that over 1,300 Russian military companies and 2 million industrial workers continue to operate, many without international restrictions.

As is known, including  ChinaNorth KoreaIndia, and Brazil, assist Moscow in killing citizens of Ukraine in Russia’s war, including funding the Russian budget through trade. 

Previously, Reuters reported that Russian energy giant Gazprom’s average daily natural gas supplies to Europe increased by 37% in July from a month earlier, when maintenance work reduced them.

Reuters also reported that a top aide to President Donald Trump on Sunday accused India of effectively financing Russia’s war in Ukraine by purchasing oil from Moscow, after the U.S. leader escalated pressure on New Delhi to stop buying Russian oil.
