Lviv café employees, who kicked out a guy with cerebral palsy, involved in public works

The employees of the Vapiano Lviv restaurant, who kicked out Roman Kysliak with cerebral palsy, have been involved in the public works to help people with disabilities.

They were also reprimanded, reads the response of the restaurant to the Human Rights Information Center request.

The employees, whose actions did not meet the ethical and moral standards of our restaurant, were reprimanded. In addition, they will be involved in the public works related to helping people with special needs as volunteers,” reads the response.

The restaurant also promised to develop a special training program for its employees on servicing the people with disabilities.

Earlier this week, it became known that Roman Kysliak, the guy with cerebral palsy, went to a restaurant to meet up with his friends, but the restaurant’s employee kicked him out without explaining the reasons.

After a wave of indignation, First Lady Maryna Poroshenko invited Roman for a cup of coffee.
