Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Andriy Parubiy has signed a decree to convene an extraordinary session of the Parliament at 10 a.m. on September 29.

The meeting will be held at the request of President Petro Poroshenko to consider dismissal of judges, who broke the oath.

This issue is planned to be the only one on the agenda.

All judges, including those involved in the illegal arrests of Maidan activists, whose dismissal was recommended by the High Council of Justice, should be dismissed,” the President posted this on his Twitter page.

He notes that delaying the issue may adversely affect the functioning of the judiciary and judicial reform.

The constitutional amendments related to judiciary, which were passed by the Ukrainian Parliament on June 2, will come into force on September 30, 2016.
