The occupation authorities in Crimea called up more than 150 Crimean Tatars for military service last year.

This was stated by “head of the department for training and military conscription of citizens of the military commissariat of the Republic of Crimea” Vadim Meshalkin, UNIAN news agency reports.

We called up over 150 Crimean Tatars for military service in 2015,” Meshalkin said.

He also noted that additional conditions had been created for the Muslims at the enlistment offices. In particular, this refers to personal hygiene of the servicemen.

Meshalkin also reported on the establishment of special places for namaz at the assembly stations.

Earlier, the Crimean Tatars reported that the occupation authorities forced them to serve in the ranks of the Russian armed forces.
