Nadiya Savchenko stops dry hunger strike
Ukrainian pilot, MP Nadiya Savchenko, who is being unlawfully imprisoned in Russia now, has stopped dry hunger strike.
Savchenko’s lawyer Nikolai Polozov posted this on Twitter.
“Thank God, Nadiya Savchenko has stopped dry hunger strike. Her decision was influenced by the request of Petro Poroshenko and everyone who supported her around the world!” the lawyer noted.
As reported, Nadiya Savchenko officially launched dry hunger strike on March 3 to protest against the fact she had not been allowed to say the final statement in the court.
Savchenko’s hunger strike has been lasting for over two months already.
