Ukrainian news websites blocked in ‘LPR’

 113 Ukrainian informational websites have been blocked in the self-proclaimed “Luhansk People’s Republic.”

According to BBC Ukraine, it happened following the order of the so-called Information Ministry of the “LPR” on prevention of informational destabilization in the “republic”. The order entered into force.

In particular, the websites of the Ukrayinska Pravda, Novoye Vremia, Radio Liberty, Ostrov, TSN, 24 TV, Nedelia, Segodnia, Obozrevatel are currently unavailable in the occupied territory.

As reported, in November 2015, so-called “Prime Minister” of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov demanded to disconnect Ukrainian media, which are available in the north of the peninsula.
