Two civilians in their own yards because of shelling

Yesterday two civilian women were wounded in the Bakhmut district of the Donetsk region because of shelling.

As reported by the Bakhmut Department of the National Police, on March 14, a resident of Luhanske settlement was in her own garden, when militants opened fire from small-arms on the front-line settlement.

Woman received shrapnel wounds to the thigh and traumatic shock of the 2nd degree. Military doctors have performed a surgery on the woman.

In addition, on March 14 at 14:34, Bakhmut Police Department received a message that a local woman was wounded by unknown people as a result of shootings.

Law enforcers, who went to the scene, previously established: a woman, born in 1935, was engaged in household chores near her home. Suddenly there were shots from the side of the forest belt, opposite to the victim’s home. As a result of this, she received tangential gunshot wound to the head.

The woman was immediately hospitalized, where she is currently receiving medical assistance.
