Twelve cases over extremism initiated by ‘Crimean prosecutor’s office’ for a year
The so-called “prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Crimea” sent twelve criminal proceedings against persons suspected of extremism to the investigating authorities last year.
The prosecutors established “additional evidence of illegal activity” during the Maidan protests in Kyiv in 2014, the press service of the office claims.
The materials of the prosecutors were also used to initiate the criminal proceedings against the organizers of the blockade of Crimea.
Several criminal cases were opened over “promotion and rehabilitation of Nazism.”
