Constitutional Court approves amendments on judiciary

The Constitutional Court of Ukraine has ruled that the draft amendments to the Constitution relating to the judiciary are constitutional.
The Constitutional Court of Ukraine made public the finding on the appeal of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine regarding compliance of the draft law on amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine (relating to the judiciary) with the requirements of Articles 157 and 158 of the Fundamental Law.
The President registered the bill on amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine (relating to the judiciary) on November 25, 2015.
The Parliament of Ukraine may consider the amendments on January 28.
