Constitutional Court starts to consider constitutional amendments on judiciary
The Constitutional Court of Ukraine has started to consider the amendments to the Fundamental Law of Ukraine on the judiciary.
The amendments are being considered in the form of hearing, UNIAN news agency reports.
Oleksandr Lytvynov is the judge-rapporteur. The hearing has been attended by 13 judges.
As a reminder, December 22, 2015, the Parliament of Ukraine asked the Constitutional Court to give its opinion on compliance of the bill on the constitutional amendments on judiciary (No. 3524), submitted by President Petro Poroshenko for consideration as urgent, with the requirements of Articles 157 and 158 of the Constitution of Ukraine.
