FSB detains native of Lviv region in Crimea on terrorism charge

The Federal Security Service of Russia has also detained a native of Lviv region, a resident of Yevpatoria, who worked as a builder, accusing him of subversive activities in Crimea.

The Crimean Human Rights Group posted this on its Facebook page.

41-year-old Andriy Zakhtiy is native of the town of Boryslav, Lviv region, western Ukraine, where he registered his private enterprise Euro-plaststroy in 2006.

It is indicated on his Facebook page that he now lives in Yevpatoriya, Crimea. Apparently, recently he could not find work in Crimea as his CV had been posted on sites to find construction work in Moscow and Moscow region.

Zakhtiy got married in 2015, he has a small child.

As a reminder, August 10, the Russian Federal Security Service accused the Defence Ministry of Ukraine of the preparation of terrorist acts in the annexed Crimea.

According to the FSB, “one of the organizers of the prevented terrorist attacks is Yevhen Panov, born in 1977, resident of Zaporizhzhia region, officer of the Main Intelligence Department of the Defence Ministry of Ukraine.” Panov was detained.
