21 civilians killed in fighting in Donetsk region over eight months – police
21 civilians were killed and another 94 people were injured as a result of fighting in Donetsk region during the first eight months of 2016.
Head of Ukraine’s National Police department in Donetsk region Vyacheslav Abroskin posted this on his Facebook page.
As noted, activities of nine organized criminal groups have been documented this year. All nine criminal proceedings have been sent to court.
322 members of the illegal armed groups and their supporters have been served notice of suspicion against, under Articles 256, 258-3, 260, 294 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The whereabouts of 195 people were established and they were detained, 129 people were put on wanted list.
Abroskin added that the number of criminal offenses, including serious and very serious crimes, had declined in Donetsk region over the first eight months of this year.
