Four people died because Avdiivka was shelled by militants (updated)
Militants have shelled private sectors of Avdiivka, four civilians were killed. One person was severely injured.
As reported by Pavlo Zhebrivskyi, the Head of Donetsk regional military and civil administration, on his Facebook page.
“The shell hit the courtyard of a residential building near the Sapronov Street. Three women and one man were killed. And another man was hospitalized in a grave condition”, – said Zhebrivskyi.
Meanwhile, Natalya Shiman, Spokeswoman of the Police of Donetsk region, stated on her Facebook page that the shell hit a yard of the house 53 on the Pionerska Street.
Owners of the house and their guests were in the street at the time of shelling. Three women and a man died on the spot from shrapnel wounds.
“Two children, who were near the epicenter of the explosion, narrowly avoided injuries”, – wrote the Spokeswoman of the National Police. According to her, children are now orphans. Currently they under the protection of policemen.
The press center of the ATO headquarters informs that the residential sector of Avdiivka was shelled at 7:30 pm with the use of artillery armament, which is banned by Minsk agreements.
