The representatives of the illegal armed formation “DPR” kicked several volunteers of the Responsible Citizens organization out of Donetsk.

They also sealed the office, coordinator Enrique Menendez wrote on his Facebook page.

The whole vehicle fleet, except for the car by which we were allowed to leave the territory, had been arrested. We were expelled from the “DPR” territory without the right to return for an indefinite period of time. We were not officially charged, but the hints were more than clear. We were asked to write the statements with the wording ‘expulsion’, which is humiliating for me as the Donetsk resident,” he wrote.

The volunteers noted that coordinator Maryna Cherenkova, who had been detained earlier, still stayed in the so-called “security service of the DPR.”

We are going to Kyiv. In the near future, we will make every effort through our international contacts to free Maryna and protect the remaining there members of the organization. But, alas, our capacities are now severely limited. It is easier to do something in the field. In fact, this was the reason to stay there to the last,” organization’s volunteer Yevhen Shybalov posted on Facebook.
