Civilian car blown up near Marinka checkpoint in Donbas
A civilian car was blown up near the Marinka checkpoint in the ATO area.
The explosion killed two out of five passengers and injured one, the ATO Headquarters press center reported. One person died on the way to the hospital.
“A Volkswagen Transporter civilian vehicle was blown up at a distance of about 600 meters from the Marinka checkpoint. The car was in the line in the direction from the so-called ‘DPR’,” the report says.
According to the ATO Headquarters, the car decided to drive around the line. Having ignored the warning signs, the vehicle drove to the roadside and bumped into an explosive device.
