Crimea Is Ukraine
On Saturday, February 28th, about two hundred activists took part in the flashmob “Crimea is Ukraine” in the center of Kyiv.
In order to arrange this, people formed a short inscription “Crimea is Ukraine” at Independence Square. Participants of the rally held yellow and blue sheets of paper to symbolize the national flag. This was recorded from an aerial view high above the gathering. Organizers hope to once again remind the world that Crimea is Ukraine.
The Crimean Tatar flag was also unfurled and a photo exhibition was opened containing pictures that were taken in the first months of the occupation and in more peaceful times of Crimea.
