Ukraine will have no rights in ICC without ratification of Rome Statute
The draft amendments to the Constitution, which have been already adopted in the first reading, postpone ratification of the Rome Statute by Ukraine for another three years.
Dr. David Donat Cattin, the Secretary-General of the Parliamentarians for Global Action international organization, comments: “The ratification of the Rome Statute will guarantee the impossibility of avoiding punishment for the international crimes and thus will become a new beginning for the peace talks during which the leaders will try to achieve the real, lasting and fair peace, no matter whether it will be within the format of Minsk III or any other.”
