April 14, a Russian court will consider the lawsuit filed by leader of the Crimean Tatars Mustafa Dzhemilev appealing against the ban on entry to the occupied Crimea.

The pre-trial preparation (talk) has been scheduled for March 31, Radio Liberty reports.

In February, the press service of the President’s Commissioner for the Crimean Tatar people reported that lawyer Mark Feygin filed a lawsuit against the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) over the illegal ban on Mustafa Dzhemilev’s entry to Crimea.

A similar five-year ban on entry to Crimea was imposed on Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov. The relevant cases are also being considered in the European Court of Human Rights.

Earlier, Dzhemilev filed a lawsuit against the Federal Migration Service of Russia over ban on entry to Crimea.
