Four Crimean Tatars questioned in Crimea at night
On the night in November 18, security officials questioned four Crimean Tatars, who were detained following raids in the Russian-annexed Crimea.
Chairman of CEC of the Kurultai of the Crimean Tatar people Zair Smedlyaev said this on the air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.
“The causes and reasons for the raids are far-fetched. Something is linked with theft, something is linked with business. This is the original cause to enter the house to conduct a search. Then they start looking for banned literature, drugs, weapons. The raid is usually carried out by armed men. People are detained and interrogated,” Smedlyaev said.
As reported, two houses of Crimean Tatars were raided in Crimea yesterday.
