Two civilians killed, five wounded in shelling of Donbas last week

Two civilians were killed, another five were wounded in shelling of Luhansk and Donetsk regions by militants last week.

This is reported by the Kharkiv Human Rights Group (KHRG).

As reported by the press service of the National Police main department in Luhansk region, October 26, a 15-year-old boy was injured, residential houses were damaged, and household outbuildings of local residents were burnt as a result of shelling by militants of the so-called “Luhansk People’s Republic.

These facts were entered into the unified register of pre-trial investigations and qualified under Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “terrorist act.”

As the KHRG reported with the reference to Valeriy Liakhovets, the Acting Mayor of Makiyivka town in Donetsk region, a 6-year-old girl from Makiyivka was injured in the evening of October 27. The girl was moderately injured, but survived the attack.

In addition, October 27, residential areas of Makiyivka came under fire. According to updated information, two civilians were killed and five people were wounded, including 6-year-old child.
