Journalists are invited to attend a public presentation of the Report of the Human Rights Assessment Mission on Crimea (6–18 July 2015), jointly produced by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) and the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities (HCNM).

• Event: Public presentation of report on human rights situation in Crimea
• Date/Time: 17 September 2015 at 11:00 (registration and coffee at 10:40)
• Location: Hotel “Kiev”, Crystal Hall, 26/1 Hrushevskoho Street, Kyiv (http://www.htl.kiev.ua)

The report is embargoed for release until the presentation at 11:00 on 17 September 2015.

The 100-page report by ODIHR and HCNM provides a comprehensive examination of the current human rights situation in Crimea, including minority rights, in light of developments since the occupation and annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation in early 2014.

Based on its findings, the ODIHR/HCNM report offers a set of recommendations to the Russian Federation and authorities exercising de facto control of Crimea, as well as to Ukraine, in order to better respect and ensure the human rights of Crimean residents and persons displaced from Crimea.

Copies of the full report will be available in English, Ukrainian and Russian at the presentation event.

Upon release, the report will be available at: https://www.osce.org/odihr/180596
